Manti Temple - Click Here to find out more
The beautiful Manti Temple sits atop the hill at the North end of Manti and is the dominant structure in the city. Built between 1877 and 1888 by the pioneers who settled this Sanpete Valley, it is a place of worship for members of the LDS church. We invite you to tour the grounds and enjoy the flower gardens and the wonderful view of Manti.

Manti Canyon
Nearby Manti Canyon is a beautiful escape into the mountains that overlook the peaceful Sanpete Valley. A half-hour drive up the canyon will bring you to the Skyline Drive. Numerous trails twist through the area which are suitable for mountain biking, horseback riding and 4-wheeling. The area also offers excellent snowmobiling in the winter.

This beautifully restored historic building was built in 1875-82 and was used for over 100 years to house the Manti City offices. It is now occupied by a tourist information center, and a museum, with a beautiful social hall on the second floor. The Italianate Style architecture is unique to the Mountain West and this building is one of the few public buildings of its kind.

Manti Historic Homes
Many of the original homes built in Manti are still standing and have been beautifully restored. These homes demonstrate the resourcefulness of the pioneer settlers. A walking tour is available along with an informational booklet that will provide you with the history and details of each home.
